Celebrating 3 Fathers
When I was back in Malacca last weekend, all the ladies went for the SUKMA opening ceremony leaving the men behind to fend for themselves
Since Father’s Day is just around the corner, Darling and I decided to bring them out for dinner. One of them had prior appointment so he could not join us. We walked to the new Restoran Cheng Maju as it is just a stone’s throw away. If you know where this restaurant is, you’ll know where my parents live
Top pic: My 2 uncles and my Dad *Luv U Dad*
Bottom pic: Restoran Cheng Maju (opp Sekolah Menengah Tun Haji Abdul Malek Cheng, Melaka)
We had…
Sweet and Sour Pork
A vegetable dish
Sambal sotong
Seremban Fried Egg – Why in the world they name it that, I don’t know but the char siew and fish cake pieces in it are yummy
Hong Kong style steamed fish
The food were delicious and the bill came out to RM67 only (inclusive drinks) for us FIVE adults and ONE Ethan. We took our time eating, chatting and slowly made our way back home on foot.
At least now I know that on days my Mum will be lazy or too tired to cook, they can just walk there for a nice, warm and affordable meal
The only downside is, we might get chased by dogs from the neighbourhood while walking there at night!
