Something to whet his appetite

When Ethan was down recently, I had to fight two major battles – getting him to stay awake and to get him to eat. I’ve already blogged about what I did to keep him awake. You can read about it here.
Now I’m gonna blog about what I did to whet his appetite. You see, kids in his condition will have a very ‘thick’ throat ie they’ll feel nauseous, very nauseous. They won’t want to eat or drink and even if they did, most likely they’ll throw up.
So I got some lemon and ‘assam boi’.
Roll those lemons first to get the most out of it 
Ooh-la-la..Simply the shiok! OK~lah, at least for me this is simply the shiok as I really love this drink!
For Ethan however, I had to add in some honey and a packet of prebiotic with probiotics for his digestion.
Got him to drink some, eat some. Drink some, eat some. He won’t be able to take much but during those times, a couple of spoon full of rice was already considered a battle won!
Good news is we went to the hospital today and the Doc gave him the clearance! He is CLEAR! Thank you for all your prayers and well wishes. Thank you

Great idea to make him a lemon and asamboi drink. The sweet and sourish drink does help whet one's appetite. Good to hear he's recovering.
