Mid Valley’s blossoming New Year

Spring is in full bloom this Chinese New Year at Mid Valley Megamall.
The Centre Court of the mall has been transformed into a blossoming lotus garden amidst enormous red lotus leaves to represent luck and wealth.
So, so huge..
The towering pagoda with intricate traditional Chinese design.
The plentiful ‘larger than life’ dragonflies flying above..
We were lucky to arrive there on time to be treated to some music and drumbeats of the Chinese drums with a combination of wushu and lion dance.
The lotus garden theme can also be spotted throughout the Megamall from the North to the South court and also the East wing on the ground floor with a Chinese pavilion at its centre.
