I am introducing toothpaste to Ethan. All this while, he has been brushing without it. But before I let him brush with toothpaste, I need to teach him to spit it out first. Let’s see how he fares…

You can try the non-cloride toothpaste for him first. As for my gal, I let her use the normal cloride toothpaste since she knows how to spit it out. And she gaggle her mouth thrice, no more and no less. :p

Some natural toothpastes can be swallowed. Maybe you can try those first. But Ethan can really spit, can't he? Haha!

Jonathan puts the toothbrush in his mouth not to brush his teeth but eating the toothpaste instead. But he is using the First Teeth toothpaste which is safe to swallow.

YX have been brushing teeth without toothpaste up till now (3 yrs old). He refused to use them. He very 'kiasi' type.
