Peranakan (Baba Nyonya Wedding)

When I got married, I did not do it the Peranakan style. I almost did not do it the Chinese style too. I did not wear that RED outfit (what is that call again?). I wore an English wedding gown. Mat Salleh celup lah kata kanPeople like me are the ones that should be thrown far far away for not following custom. Anyway, all ME aside, my cousin Cherylene married her sweetheart Eddie the traditional Peranakan way. Rarely do we get to witness such a wedding these days. Here are some pictures of their wedding…
The lovely couple with my Mum and Dad
Eddie getting dressed, not easy you know…
Eddie Pak. Handsome tak? So happy this groom… :) The wedding car
Still smiling…
Starting to sweat there… nervous Eddie?
The arrival of the “Mat Rempit“? ^^
He is such a smiley face that day.. :)
Going through obstacles…
The wedding couple and my Grandma
The wedding couple, with the bride’s parents and Grandma

With aunts all clad in Nyonya Kebaya

All the best, Noneh and Eddie… :)

This is actually a back dated post. They got married a couple of years back and is now blessed with such a cutie
