All about EGGS
I boiled some hard boiled eggs the other day and left it on the table to cool. Darling was way too helpful when he took the cooled eggs (with the shell still intact) and kept it back in the fridge! OMG! When I asked him which was the egg that I have boiled, he couldn’t remember! What was I suppose to do? Crack open all the eggs or boiled them all over again? But what am I going to do with so many boiled eggs?
I googled for help and I found this:
Spin the egg on the side and hold it for a moment.
Let the egg go.
If it keeps spinning, it is raw egg. If it stops, it is hard-boiled. (The raw egg keeps spinning because it still has liquid inside.)
Phew. Thank goodness for whoever came out with THAT info!
And since I am into eggs, I just like to say that when it comes to hard boiled eggs, I just hate it when the yolk develop a bluish ring around it, making it look bruised. To avoid the egg yolk from ‘bruising’ I dipped them in cold water immediately after boiling. This will always result in perfectly boiled eggs with yolk as yellow as butter!
And sometimes, I like them in some fancy shapes too!
