So Dark!

Was in the playroom. Soon, it was dinner time. Persuaded the little one to get to the dining room for dinner. He refused. I was running late with my next class commencing in just half an hours time. Still not moving out from that room. Thought of using the ‘scare’ tactic. I switched off the lights and closed the door, leaving him all alone in that dark room. Waited outside for him to shout and cry. But no sound. Waited a little while more…
Then I heard his little voice saying.. “So dark!!! Many many stars! Mummy… soooooo dark! Many many stars!”. Aiks! LOL! Where and when in the world did he learnt to use the word “So dark”? Hahahahaha.. My plan failed. He was enjoying the dark room and the ‘many many‘ stars. What stars? The many glow-in-the-dark stars that I stuck onto the wall! So much for my ‘scare’ tactic! And I thought all toddlers are suppose to be afraid of the dark! Duh..
