It’s fever now

Last night Ethan woke up at 3am again. This time with high fever. He couldn’t open his eyes but I ‘forced‘ him to take his milk and some bread so that I can feed him his fever med. He refused to let me put the fever patch on his forehead, don’t know why. It’s not the first time using it, but somehow, this time he rejected it totally, screaming his lungs out requesting for it to be removed! Hahaha.. if it is so annoying to him, why doesn’t he remove it himself? Sigh… still, Darling removed it as he can’t bear to hear Ethan’s screams!
After taking his medication and all, he refuses to go back to sleep again and demanded to go downstairs to play! It was already almost 5am and I am way too sleepy. Darling is already not feeling too well again, with on and off flu this time around. So I went down to take some toys and his vehicle flash cards up to the bedroom. Left it on our bed with Ethan and we went back to sleep. I think it was around 6am that Ethan finally sleeps.
Today, besides having flu and fever, he is also purging, 5 times so far. Brought him to the paed and came back with a plastic full of medication. Changed his milk to lactose free at the moment, always does that when he is purging. The poor boy is sleeping now, finally.
And Darling is still at home, has yet to go to work. It’s already 2pm now…
