Steam Banana Cake in Tea Cups
After reading Mumsgather’s Steamed Yin and Yang Cake, I was tempted to dig out my old recipe of Steam Banana Cake in Tea Cups and do it for Ethan. I compared notes with her recipe and it was almost identical except for a little difference in the measurements here and there.
2 ripe bananas (mashed)
1 medium sized egg (lightly beaten)
It turned out a little bit heavy and not too fluffy as I expected. Maybe the bananas I got was too big (or long?), making it heavy. Hahahahahha… Next time, I’ll try a smaller (or shorter) bananas!
This recipe has been sitting idle in my drawer for so long, this is my first time trying it. So delicious I tell you! Suitable for toddlers as it is steamed. I love steaming due to our hot weather. Try it when you have the time. All it take is 5 minutes to mix everything together and another 30 minutes steaming it. Get your hubs to do the cleaning and the result is simply delicious! Ethan took a whole cup, Darling another cup and ME, two cups!
P/S: Darling called it “Muffin”!
