41. Nose bleed … again…

Ethan’s nose bleeds again. I said again because he has had this for so many times already as in my October post. http://submerryn.blogspot.com/2008/10/nose-bleed.html
So when it happens just now, we are so calm, too calm.
Me: Eh, nose bleeds.
Darling: Come… see. A lot kah?
Me: Err.. no.
Darling: You know what to do kan? I go work now. Call me if it tak stop bleeding, ok?
Then we exchanged group hugs and kisses and off Darling goes to work. And Ethan and I are like so steady, sits on the floor. I gave him a hanky to wipe off the blood and this time even Ethan knows what to do, holds the hanky at his nose until the blood stops flowing!
Old folks would say nose bleeds because of heatiness. Ethan’s paed says it is because of lack of Vitamin C. I believe in both but wonders how this can happen to Ethan as he drinks a lot of water and eats fresh fruits after every meal! I even juice him his favourite fresh fruit juice when I have the time…
I think Ethan has my genes because I used to have a lot of nose bleeding episodes during my early years. I certainly hopes Ethan will outgrow this
phase.
