9. Reduce, Reuse & Recycle, Making Everyday, Earth Day

Who actually recycles at home, raise your hands?! ME! Well… I’m proud to say that I actually recycles at home. I even have some recycle ‘bins’ laid out under my sink. Even the ‘bins’ are made of recycled boxes. It may not look so pro but it’s ok lah… The functionality is all that matters. You may realise that I do not have a ‘bin’ for aluminium cans or tins and that is because all my tins are placed OUTSIDE at the car porch. Too many to be kept inside the house. Most of them consists of Ethan’s milk formula tins.

How do we recycle? First, separate your trash. Some trash that can’t be recycled I place them into, well…. a trash bin. Next, collect your separated recycleable items and dispose them into the proper recycle bins around town. I can easily find some during my weekly outings in either 1 Utama or Ikano Power Centre. What if you are too busy to go look for recycle bins? You can still recycle. Separate your trash and label them. Tell your trash collector that you have separated your trash into so and so categories. Your trash collector will only be too happy to collect your trash and send them to the proper recycle channels.
Recycling is easy to do. I urge everyone out there to recycle for the sake of our children…
